 Welcome! I am Bruce Bagdady and I am seeking reelection to the Novi Community Schools Board of Education.
As an incumbent on the Novi Board of Education, I am proud to say that we have an outstanding School District. In my years serving on the Board, we have continued to improve an excellent educational program while maintaining an appropriate fund balance. Our students’ test scores place them among the best in the County and the State and we have received National recognition for our programs. Money magazine recently listed Novi as one of the top 100 small cities in the country in which to live. Novi’s excellent schools was one of the main reasons for that ranking.
We are blessed with quality students, supportive parents and a great community. The School Board owes it to you to allocate your resources to provide the best education possible. That’s why I believe we should continue to monitor our educational programs, retaining those we know to be the most effective. Likewise, I believe we must continue to closely monitor the budget, making sure we focus on cost-effective quality education.
As State funding becomes less certain and our student population stops growing, more than ever we need proven leadership and a voice of reason on the Board of Education. I hope you agree and will support my efforts to remain on the Board.
